Convenience and a great price!

I have a retail business and I can’t leave my shop. I called Gulliver and the advisor came by that day and checked my car while I was working. In about 15 minutes he gave me a great quote on my car. I decided to sell, and the next day he came back with a check and picked up the car. I like the convenience of selling to Gulliver – and their price!

The “Gulliver Way”
• Why? Because of our “hold-no-inventory” philosophy
Every Gulliver pre-owned car is sold within two weeks of acquisition, either as a retail car, an export, or through other company channels. It is this policy of moving vehicles quickly that saves the car buyer money. Traditional dealers keep inventory anywhere from three to six months. Car values depreciate, and losses are the inevitable result. To cover these losses most dealers place a higher margin on their cars. Because Gulliver avoids the depreciation risk, it can sell cars at a lower margin of profit. And remember that inventory costs include insurance, power and labor – further expenses that our “hold-no-inventory” system eliminates. The result is simply a better deal for you!
• Why? Because we have unique sales channels both inside and outside the U.S.
Gulliver has its own unique car sales channels. For instance, we have a network of 500 pre-owned car sales locations in Japan. Among the popular cars sold at these locations are American SUVs and left-hand drive Japanese cars imported from the U.S. (Yes, for some reason many Japanese prefer steering on the left side, although cars produced for the
Japanese market are built with right-side steering. Hence, popular models with left-side steering fetch a higher price in Japan!) The needs of our headquarters and our other stores in the U.S. offer further sales opportunities that allow us to give you a better price for your used car. By all means compare our price to offers from other dealers.

Consign Your Car

I’d like to sell my used car, but I want to try a private party deal. What's the best way to do this?

How to Get the Most Out of Your Car
Tips
To get the best price for your used car you need to do more than clean it and talk up the selling points. First, what many people forget is that you will get more for your car if you sell it now than if you wait. So trying for weeks or months to get a higher offer from a private party, or traveling from dealer to dealer looking for a higher trade-in offer, is not the wisest strategy. Does it really make sense to spend hours of your valuable time seeking ways to get a little bit more money for your car? Especially when just a few weeks can bring on a market change that depreciates your particular car's value by hundreds of dollars or more? You can be sure that most cars depreciate with time. If you think you might want to sell your car, there is no better time than today!
